Yrjö Kukkapuro Furniture

Yrjö Kukkapuro is one of Finland's internationally renowned and awarded furniture designers, and a key modernist in Finnish furniture design. Kukkapuro's design work is based on both aesthetic and functional innovation, user experience, and ergonomics.

Throughout his exceptionally long career, spanning over 60 years, Yrjö Kukkapuro has created furniture that was at the cutting edge of modernity in its time and which has proven to be modern classics. Objects designed by Kukkapuro are on permanent display at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
